My Day 10th Dec 2006

My Day entry 10/12/2006

I am shattered got up early and going to bed shortly, just wanted to tell you about my day before I do.

I spent hours updating my official website at http://lindacorby.co.uk , every time I uploaded it I found yet another fault or broken link to the point that it made me want to scream. I stopped for a while to chat to my screenwriting partner Cathy, she is lovely and always manages to brighten up my day, she is really funny, and I love her to bits. Cathy has just got her book published and out there for sale, I am really happy that I was the first person to buy it, and believe me it is really good, Cathy’s humour is what really makes it a brilliant read. I am soo proud of her for getting it finished, but I always knew she would.

I went through all the usual things like waiting for my teenage daughter to actually get out of bed. It was lunchtime before she managed to, goodness teenagers. When I go to bed I have no doubt that she will replace me on the net, then I will have a problem getting her up for collage in the morning, nothing new there then, lol.

My dog Tarbra has been a treasure all day, she is very loving and I would be lost without her, such good company, I just want to cuddle her all the time, she follows me everywhere including to the loo, always at my side, when I go to bed she will go with me and be alongside my side of the bed all night.

My daughters cat Brando follows me around just like Tarbra, but drives me nuts because he loves to scratch the heck out of my stairway carpet , then legging it when I go to stop him, he continues scratching until I move no matter how much I shout at him. Ever tried to write anything with a cat sat on your lap, another of Brando’s favourite hobbies, just overly affectionate he is, cannot help giving in and loving him though. I am just one huge soft touch when it comes to animals and children, a completely hopeless case that’s me.

P.S. Ate too much junk food today as well, God help me I’m addicted to food!
